TEK Federation

The federation is an open umbrella organization that facilitates the federated infrastructure and syndication capabilities required for the era of digital abundance. It supports the development of federated intercommunicating systems designed to transport, archive, and preserve digital data and assets while preserving ownership, source, and authenticity.

The organization supports Working Group 42 — responsible for designing file formats, federation-aware servers, network protocols, standards, software tools, and licenses for the emerging industries. Already halfway into The Digital Dark Age, our main mission is to move out of it and into A Digital Golden Age — where knowledge and information are distributable, preservable, and alive across networks instead of locked inside fragile, centralized, or short-lived silos.
