content made primarily for clicks, engagement, or volume rather than quality or insight.
Slopper A person who creates and spreads large
amounts of AI slop; more broadly, someone overly reliant on AI tools for everyday thinking and
decisions.
Slopify (verb) To turn something into AI slop
or degrade it through careless use of generative AI.
Slopified Past tense / past participle of
slopify; also used as an adjective for something that has been turned into (or made worse by) AI slop.
Sloppy Adjective describing content that looks
or feels like low-effort, generic, or uncanny AI output.
Slopification The gradual degradation of
platforms, media, or culture as they become flooded with AI slop.
Slopifying The continuous act of degrading
quality by filling something with AI-generated slop.
Slopimy AI-generated garbage that’s not only
low-quality, but also carries that slimy, untrustworthy, uncanny-valley aftertaste.
Slopposting The practice of repeatedly posting
AI-generated slop, especially on social media for engagement.
Slopphony An application, product, or system
composed almost entirely of low-quality AI-generated components — a grand, hollow symphony of slop.
Slopocalypse The total (or near-total) takeover
of the internet by low-quality AI-generated content.
Slopism The ideology or attitude that treats
mass production of AI slop as legitimate creative expression or inevitable progress.
Translop AI slop created by transforming,
translating, or converting content across languages, formats, or multiple models.
